Every Bayport partnership is crucial to our continued success. Bayport Financial Services forges strategic partnerships with local stakeholders, employers, government institutions and trade unions in every country where we are active. These partnerships connect us with the people and enable us to understand their needs.
A Bayport partnership is also part of our collecting arm, each of them forwarding outstanding debts to us, deducting it from employees’ wages. This is partly why our bad debts are so low and our credit quality so good. It also means that Bayport Financial Services can survive and prosper, continuing to bring our financial services to the African people.

Bayport sponsorship initiatives have help African communities improve their standards of living and have been a key demonstrator of Bayport Financial Services’ belief that we should invest in the communities that our clients come from. We see it as an investment in Africa’s future.
The Bayport sponsorship initiatives that we have launched in Zambia have focused on capacity building and support programmes. Zambian efforts have included sponsorships to promising learners who excel academically but cannot afford to further their studies and assistance programmes to help make sporting days happen. This ties in with Bayport Financial Services’ firm belief that a society should be both healthy and educated in order to prosper.

Bayport sponsorship initiatives seek to give assistance where assistance is due, improving the lives of communities and giving back to the communities form whence Bayport Financial Services’ clients come. We believe in investing in Africa and its people.
The Bayport sponsorship programmes that we run are mostly in the domains of healthcare, education and sports. Bayport Financial Services have assisted sports teams with making sporting days happen and assisted with the provision of sports uniforms for needy teams. Our involvement in education has brought about school building upgrades and we have invested extensively in healthcare through renovating and extending hospital facilities.

Many Bayport community initiatives have changed African lives and have empowered entire communities to improve and empower themselves. Bayport Financial Services is not only a credit provider in Africa, but also an investor in the communities from whence our clients come.
Bayport community initiatives include many education and healthcare programmes that emphasise our firm belief that a community and society cannot prosper if it is not healthy and educated. This has prompted us to invest in school improvements, hospital extensions and assisting sports teams with sponsorships and uniforms. Bayport Financial Services’ education programmes also sponsor many excellent learners who cannot financially afford to further their studies.

Bayport relief initiatives have changed many African lives. It is our way of ploughing back resources into the communities from whence our client base originates. Bayport Financial Services’ community assistance programmes are mostly in the domains of healthcare, education and sport.
However, Bayport relief programmes focus more on immediate and serious needs. In this vein, Bayport has given assistance to flood and landslide victims in Uganda, including 200kg of Cassava cuttings and 200kg of maize seeds to help people get back on their feet. We have also donated crutches to Butaleja PWD (People With Disabilities). These initiatives indicate our firm belief that Bayport Financial Services has a responsibility in the communities where it does business.
