However, Bayport Financial Services is already represented in eight Ugandan cities. We ascribe the rapid growth of Bayport in Uganda to our intimate understanding of the local culture and the people’s financial needs, thanks to our partnerships with local stakeholders.

Uganda posed a challenge to Bayport due to the country’s uniquely decentralised civil service payroll system and a credit market that had traditionally been very competitive. However, Bayport has overcome all the obstacles and has been experiencing rapid growth in Uganda, not least because of our positive relationships with many local communities and stakeholders.
